Website terms
A clear basis for exploring Hermetix, using our content and getting in touch.
01 / About this website
These terms concern the Hermetix Canada website. ‘We’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ mean the Canadian operator. Its registered legal name, province of establishment and mailing address will be inserted before publication. You can currently contact the website team at info@hermetix.co.
The site introduces Hermetix doors and technologies and lets you prepare an email enquiry. It does not currently offer online checkout, take payment or allow an order to be placed. These terms do not replace a written quotation, purchase agreement, installation agreement or product warranty.
02 / Scope and your rights
These terms explain permitted use of this website and its materials. Nothing removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer, privacy, accessibility or language rights. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory rule, that rule applies to the extent of the conflict.
Reading the website does not constitute consent to optional tracking, promotional messages or new uses of personal information. Any transaction requiring an agreement will have its own information and acceptance process.
03 / Product information and project decisions
Website descriptions are an introduction. A photograph or demonstration does not establish that every finish, mechanism or configuration is available in Canada or suitable for a particular project. Confirm the exact model, dimensions, materials, functions, certifications, applicable standards, availability and installation requirements in current written documentation before specifying or ordering.
The website does not create an additional product warranty, security rating, delivery commitment or price promise. Applicable statutory warranties and representations for which the law makes us responsible remain unaffected. A door or mechanism cannot be treated as a guarantee against every form of intrusion.
Check project-specific technical advice, code compliance and installation requirements with appropriately qualified professionals. The website is not a substitute for that assessment. Please tell us if you find an error so it can be reviewed.
04 / Images and demonstrations
Photographs show Hermetix installations; their surroundings have been digitally restaged. Some illustrative images are labelled as studio restagings. Films are cuts of Hermetix’s official demonstration films. They illustrate the featured technology without promising identical results for every installation.
Screen settings, lighting and restaging can affect perceived colour, finish, proportions and context. Use approved specifications and appropriate samples for final decisions.
05 / Using the website and its content
You may browse, link to public pages and save or print reasonable extracts for personal research or legitimate project evaluation. Keep attribution and notices. Other reuse of protected photographs, films, drawings, text, logos or software requires the relevant rights holder’s permission unless applicable law permits it. Hermetix names and marks remain subject to their owners’ rights.
Do not use the site to break the law, send malicious code or abusive or misleading enquiries, impersonate others, bypass access controls, interfere with availability or collect personal information without authority. This does not restrict lawful vulnerability reporting or the exercise of a statutory right.
06 / Enquiries and submissions
The form opens your email application with a draft. Nothing is sent to us until you send the email. Sending it does not place an order, reserve goods, guarantee a response time or create a purchase or investment agreement.
Send information you are authorised to share and only what is needed. Contact us before sending confidential plans or sensitive material requiring special handling. You retain your rights in submitted material; an enquiry does not give us a general right to publish your plans, messages or photographs.
The privacy policy explains the intended handling of enquiries and website information. Optional cookie choices are separate from your ability to contact us.
07 / External services
Links to social accounts, provider policies or external resources lead to services with their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not make a service part of this website or endorse all of its content.
Your email application and communications provider control the sending of an enquiry from your device. Check the recipient and content before sending.
08 / Availability and responsibility
We may update content or carry out maintenance, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. Uninterrupted access and indefinite availability of every page are not promised. Use current, confirmed project documentation for decisions depending on a specification or commitment.
Responsibility for loss is determined by applicable law. These terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability, a contractual damages cap or a waiver of liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, intentional misconduct or statutory obligations. They do not alter remedies under a separate purchase agreement or mandatory consumer law.
09 / Business and investor enquiries
Company, technology and investor pages are introductory information. They are not an offer to sell securities, a solicitation to invest, a forecast of returns or personalised financial advice. Investment discussions would require separate authorised documentation and compliance with applicable transaction laws.
10 / Questions and disputes
Please raise website concerns at info@hermetix.co so we can try to resolve them. This does not prevent you from contacting a regulator or using a court, tribunal or another remedy available under applicable law.
The operator’s home province and any appropriate governing-law provision are pending confirmation. This draft does not designate an exclusive court or impose arbitration. The final terms must preserve consumers’ mandatory protections and forums, including those in their place of residence where applicable.
11 / Updates to these terms
Published terms will identify their effective date. Changes apply prospectively, with notice and acceptance where legally required; they do not retrospectively change an existing transaction. A website update cannot override a separate signed agreement or a mandatory legal right.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision does not automatically waive a legal right.
